This Flexible Lock Nut is used in the assembly of Century and Holmes wreckers
from Miller Industries. This nut can be used in the wheel lift, boom, or
crossbar assembly. Please see the brochure tab for a list of breakdowns where
this nut is used. Start by hand, and then wrench the nut into position anywhere
along the stud or fastener; the expansion of the top slotted section locks the
nut. Made from a single piece of metal, these nuts have greater fatigue
strengths than similar size nylock nuts and can be used in higher temperature
applications. The Cadmium plating provides excellent corrosion resistance and
improves conductivity.
