Encased in a durable plastic housing, this tandem 80-lb. retractable tensioner features two 40-lb. tensioners working together as one unit. The dual cable ends are attached to the tractor's hose assembly with a sling and snap clip. Keeping hoses and lines six inches off the catwalk. The system allows for 84 inches of overall line travel, more than enough to accommodate any 90-degree maneuver.

Each tensioner features an internal recoil mechanism. As the semi completes a turn or backs into a dock, the tensioner takes up the slack, similar to the recoil on any small engine. The listed weight rating is how much the cable can support. This heavy-duty 80 lb. tensioner recommended to handle most heavy hydraulic hoses. The cable is made from aircraft-grade, stainless steel and will not rust and break like a typical factory-installed spring sliding on a cab's towel bar.
