Ancra Cobra Cargo Bar

Flatbed haulers looking for a safer way to tighten winch straps or release chain binders should consider this new combination winch bar from Ancra Cargo. As the name suggests, the Cobra Winch Bar is a spanner style winch bar that features a cobra head design. This patent-pending hook tip provides excellent stability with multiple points of contact on the winch cap.

Designed to prevent personal injury, this unique tip fits securely into the hole on the cap and won’t slip out under tension like other styles of winch bars. The knurled handle provides extra grip while wearing gloves, and the ergonomic bend increases leverage and improves access to hard-to-reach areas, especially on step decks. By design, the hook tip will not rollover nor elongate holes in the winch cap.

Located opposite the cobra head is the box end of the combination steel winch bar. Eliminating pinch points, this open design allows the bar to slip over the handle of a chain binder, and the three-foot length of the six-pound bar gives added control and space while releasing the tension. Please note this bar is not intended for and should not be used as a cheater bar to close the load binder.
