Brimstone EV Suppressor Blanket Kit

Quickly contain electrical vehicle fires with an advanced Fire Suppressor Blanket Kit from Brimstone. This lightweight, single layer material features a special lab-formulated coating to effectively suffocate lithium-ion battery fires in EVs and other battery-powered equipment, like forklifts. The system also works great for controlling hybrid and conventional vehicle fires.

Engineered to modern safety standards, the Brimstone fire suppression blanket is specifically designed to isolate high-risk fires. Bundled for rapid, two-person deployment, the blanket rolls out in seconds and includes reflective loop handles for easy identification in emergency situations, minimizing damage and buying critical time for first responders and firefighters.

With a 2,050° melting point, the blanket is built to handle the extreme temperatures and volatile reactions of a lithium-ion battery fire. Cutting off the oxygen supply, the heat-resistant and flame-retardant fabric can withstand intense heat and flames. Available in four sizes, the large surface area ensures full vehicle coverage, including large SUVs and commercial vans.

Kevlar cinch straps minimize the risk of the fire escaping and escalating by sealing off the base with a recommended three-foot cushion of excess material. Featuring a quick-release mechanism, these straps are colored hi-vis yellow for better handling in low-light situations. They also help control the blanket in windy conditions.

Advantageous in smoky environments, the bright white fabric ensures high visibility, making it easy to locate, position and manage under pressure. Available with most kits, extendable yellow poles assist in spreading the fabric out, and each blanket can be repacked and reused several times, pending visual inspection for damage after each use.
