EZ Claw Direct Mount 3-in-1 Yard Truck Line Saver

The EZ Claw Yard Truck tensioner is specifically designed for use on yard hostlers. The bracket and retractable tensioner are mounted near the top of the cab on the driver?s side, keeping them six inches above the catwalk and clear of the rear pass-through door. Eliminating tripping hazards, the 25-lb. tensioner can easily handle the weight of the emergency air hose reaching from the yard truck to the trailer.

The system allows for 84 inches of overall line travel, more than enough to accommodate any 90-degree maneuver. Each tensioner features an internal recoil mechanism. As the yard truck completes a turn or backs into a dock, the tensioner takes up the slack, similar to the recoil on any small engine.

The cable is made from aircraft-grade, stainless steel and will not rust and break like a typical factory-installed support spring. The cable end is attached to the yard truck?s hose with a sling and snap clip. This part just covers the tensioner. The mounting bracket, sling and spring clip can be purchased separately or are available in a kit with the tensioner. Installation instructions are included.
