Description

Chelsea Power Shift PTOs deliver clash-free shifts whether the vehicle is stationary or on the move. Constant mesh input gears and specially designed clutch packs make these PTOs ideal for applications that demand frequent PTO shifting. Compatible with Force America Products. The 250 PTO series is a hydraulically operated (electric-over-hydraulic) and is used with the 2002 and newer Allison "1000" series transmissions used in the Chevrolet/GMC C4500/5500 chassis.

An OPTIONAL lube "T" fitting is REQUIRED in the oil return cooling line to supply low pressure oil to the idler shaft of the PTO. Part number 378840 "T" fitting is for the transmission model 1000 with SAE #3 bell housing. Part number 378970 for transmission models 1000/2000/2400 with the SAE #2 bell housing. The high pressure port requires a 7/16-20 O-ring boss fitting
