Description

The best way to control an oil spill at an accident scene in the rain or to prevent a leak from migrating to an environmentally-sensitive area is with an oil-only absorbent boom from SpillTech. These white netted booms can be quickly linked together to create a containment system for any size of spill. Available in three diameters, these 10 socks belong to SpillTech's economical Contractor Grade series. Repelling water and attracting only hydrocarbons, these hydrophobic, disposable socks are designed for short-term use on petroleum-based spills. Each boom consists of recycled poly-blend fill, polyester netting and metal connecting and tie hardware. Each diameter is sold in packages of four booms.
