Sold in packages of four, these netted boom socks absorb both petroleum- and water-based fluids and can be daisy-chained together to cover a wide area. Each sock measures 5" in diameter and can absorb up to 5.8 gallons. The gray color means it can be used to clean up a variety of materials; and once the fluids are soaked up, the sock will not shed, even when fully saturated. These fast-acting booms can also be used in industrial settings. The flexible material can conform to any shape and will help control spills of any volume.
