This nozzle is for diesel fuel ONLY, and is NOT intended for aviation or gasoline fuels. Use of such fuels will void the manufacturer's warranty. This nozzle is NOT intended to be used with Teflon tape. Use of Teflon tape will void manufacturer's warranty. Instead, we recommend using thread sealant. This automatic nozzle will NOT work with a gravity feed application. Use of such application will void return policy. NFPA 30-A Automotive and Marine Service Station Code (9-1.2.1) At any installation where the normal flow of product may be stopped other than by the hose nozzle valve, such as at pre-pay stations, the system shall include listed equipment with the feature that causes or requires the closing of the hose nozzle valve before product flow can be resumed, or before the hose nozzle valve can be replaced in its normal position in the dispenser; or the nozzle valve shall not be equipped with a latch-open device. Warning The OPW 11B nozzle complies with NFPA Code 30-A, and may be used with a hold-open device at installations (such as pre-pay and card readers) where the normal flow of product may be stopped or started by means other than with the hose nozzle valve. Use of foreign objects to hold open automatic nozzles could result in shut-off failure and personal injury.
