Zip's King Pin Adapter allows heavy-duty operators to recover and tow semi trailers equipped with an uncompromised king pin. Made from 1" plate steel, the adapter features a keyhole slot to fit over the king pin and then slide forward, nesting in the machined groove of the king pin . The adapter's front two holes accommodate 1" screwpin shackles, which provide connection points for Grade 80 recovery chain. Attached to fork adapters on the wrecker's underreach, the recovery chain keeps the adapter securely in place and supports the front of the trailer.
